Description

This quick and easy overnight chai oatmeal is spiced with a mix of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and black pepper like the tea.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon plus more for serving
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • Berries and nuts for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the oats, almond milk and spices. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Serve with berries, nuts and additional cinnamon.
