Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chips

Baking Soda Salt

All-Purpose Flour

Granulated Sugar

Brown Sugar

Peanut Butter

Vanilla Extract

Using an electric mixer, cream the peanut butter, butter, light brown sugar and granulated sugar until they are pale and fluffy. This will take about 4 minutes.

Beat the egg and vanilla extract into the creamed butter and sugars.

In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda and salt.

Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients by hand using a wood spoon or with a mixer on low speed.

Stir the chocolate chips into the cookie dough.

Portion out the dough onto a pan or plate lined with parchment or wax paper. Cover and chill in the fridge overnight.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Arrange the cookie dough balls 3 inches apart on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan.

Bake the cookies for 20-22 minutes until they are golden brown and cracked on top.

Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the pan before transferring them to a wire rack to continue cooling.
