Warm Water

Bread Flour

Whole Wheat Flour

Combine the warm water, yeast, sugar and olive oil.

Combine the bread flour, whole wheat flour, rosemary and salt.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.

Stir into a shaggy dough.

Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic.

Shape the dough into a ball. Put it into an oiled bowl and cover. 

Once the dough has finished rising, it will have doubled in size. 

Divide the dough in half.

Roll out the dough into an oval.

Cut 2 slashes down the center and pull them apart.

Cut diagonal slashes on both sides of the center openings.

Pull the slashes apart.

Make short cuts around the edge of the oval.

Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

Bake until golden brown.
