Sauteed Broccolini  and Almonds

Toast the almonds in olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until they are lightly browned.

Prep the almonds.

Stir the spices into the almonds. After 30 seconds they will be fragrant. Then scoop them onto a plate and wipe out the pan.

Sauté the broccolini in olive oil in the pan over medium-high heat until it turns bright green, about 5-7 minutes.

Saute the broccolini.

Stir in the sliced garlic cloves and salt and continue cooking for 30 seconds.

Pour in the water and cover the pan. Steam the broccolini for 1-2 minutes until it is tender but still crisp.

Steam the broccolini.

Plate the broccolini and top with spiced almonds and chopped parsley. Serve with lemon wedges.
