Overnight Steel-Cut Oats

Spend less than 5 minutes before you go to sleep simmering these overnight steel-cut oats. Then he next morning you’ll wake up to breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 3 cups water
  • Milk, fruit (dried or fresh), nuts and seeds for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a small saucepan over medium high heat. Add the oats and toast for a few minutes, shaking the pan. Pour in the water and bring to a rolling boil. Remove from the heat, cover and let stand overnight at room temperature. Add milk, fruit, nuts and seeds before serving
